KliiK Glasses Design Guide

KliiK, a European glasses brand, has done a lot of work advertising its products across the city of Toronto. There are at least 5 billboards across various parts of the city, all having a very elegant lady wearing their glasses.

KliiK brand does have it's own style. The style of meticulous details. Most of KliiK glasses frames are metal. This is another factor why one might like their frames. Big brands such as Chanel, Gucci, Prada etc no longer make good metal frames. It is much cheaper to do the plastic mold and slam a fancy logo on it. KliiK positioned itself as brand that does not cut corners. Metal frames look much more elegant than plastic. They also look more sophisticated.

So here you go, best of KliiK glasses that are available online at our online glasses store:

FYSH Glasses Bring True Royal Style

If Kate Middelton wore eyeglasses she most likely would wear FYSH. FYSH UK is a British eyeglasses manufacturer and a designer house that has been rocking the world of eyeglasses for close to 10 years now. FYSH was one of the first eyeglasses makers to do truly crazy designs. Today nothing can surprise an average wearer, but 10 years ago even cheeseboard temples would be considered too fashionable. FYSH capitalized on success and to date has over 100 styles for any taste. Of course you will find a lot of conservative styles, it's just who likes FYSH are people who are looking for an edge.

Here are some of my favorite models:

Gucci's Frida Giannini to be Immortalized in James Franco's documentary

Frida Giannini has been working for Gucci close to 10 years and has been a main designer of the fashion house since 2004. There is very little known about her as she tries to keep low media profile and rarely even gives interviews, if she does it is mostly about Gucci and collections she is working on. She is one of the least known currently living designers. Everybody knows Gucci, few know Frida Giannini.

American actor and director James Franco is about to change that. It has been announced last week that James Franco signed to do a full feature documentary about Gucci and specifically Frida Giannini. James already has a close connection with Gucci as he is one of the models for Gucci men perfume. Perhaps his friendship with Frida has inspired him to do a documentary about her. Another accomplished director Christina Voros will be co-directing the film.

Making a documentary about a fashion house is not an easy task. While many people will tell you they love fashion, they are only interested in the concept of it as oppose the process, details of behind the scenes stuff. Gucci has an interesting history, but the stable design history and lack of scandals made people be less appreciative about the brand. It is also a brand that got itself into many uberluxurious projects such as equestrian collection or Fiat interior design. Few people have interest in these projects as they can't find a personal connection with them. Because Frida is such a "normal" person, James faces a hard task to find an interesting edge to show off Frida's talent and accomplishments.

Documentary most likely to be released in 2014

Polarized Sunglasses Guide. How and When to Buy and Not to Buy

Polarized Sunglasses Prada SPS 01L
Many people wonder what is polarized sunglasses, why they need them and why they cost more. Many people have a perception that polarized sunglasses are better than non-polarized, but they can't explain why.

What is polarized sunglasses anyways?

Without going into scientific explanation polarized lens is a lens that cuts horizontal glare. In other words is it made with a special filter inside that blocks optical waves that cause reflections on the surface. If you are driving for example you may see lots of light reflection on the surface of your car or side windows and mirrors. Through polarized lenses you will not see this glare. So polarized sunglasses are sunglasses that have polarized lens.

Who needs polarized sunglasses?

When you read about benefits of polarized sunglasses you may be wondering it's a no brainier to get them. However if you don't spend much time driving, fishing, yachting or skiing  you may not notice a difference. This is because under normal outside conditions you don't see much glare, on the street or back yard for example. You see lot's of glare when you are staring at the water, lake or an ocean for example. Driving is a separate topic. People divide between those who believe polarized glasses are good for driving and those who don't. Polarized lens interferes with car wind shield that has UV coating (most modern cars do). You will most likely see a rainbow when turning your eyes sideways if you are looking through polarized lens. Some people hate this and think that they would rather deal with the glare than with the annoying rainbow. But if you are surrounded by snow or water, polarized lenses will be very beneficial for your eyes. Your eyes will feel less strained and seeing will be an easier job for them.

Why polarized sunglasses are more expensive?

The process of manufacturing polarized lenses is much more complex than in manufacturing regular lenses. Here is detailed explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polaroid_(polarizer)
Expect to pay $10 to $50 for polarized sunglasses than regular sunglasses depending on where they are made.

Will polarized sunglasses prevent from seeing digital screen?

Yes, polarized sunglasses will prevent from seeing digital screen such as phone, iPhone, laptop, GPS etc. If you bring polarized sunglasses close to digital screen and turn them 90 degrees, at about 45 degrees you will see how screen turns darker and eventually, at about 90 will go completely black. If you understand how polarized sunglasses are made, you will understand why this is happening. In short, polarized lens is cutting horizontal reflection and digital screen is nothing else but a screen with light reflections on it. Of course when polarized sunglasses were first invented there was no digital screens, so they became an instant hit. In today's world polarized sunglasses are not as popular mainly due to higher price and inconvenience of looking at digital screens for example.

What are good examples of polarized sunglasses?

If you value quality, you will appreciate brand name designer sunglasses.

Most Popular Sunglasses from Prada Sport

Prada is one of the few companies that has a very descent choice for men. From the beginning Prada has been focused on providing wide offering for men in shoes, clothing and sunglasses. What appeals to me the most in their styles is that it is a little bit sporty. Yes, we have Hugo Boss with sharp suits, and Armani with shiny shoes. But Prada really has something for men of a lifestyle. I have done a lot of travelling in my career and my most favorite travel items have been from Prada. Prada Sport sunglasses - those with the red stripe logo, are very comfortable. They are light, even when made out of metal, and have soft temples that don't distract even if you are actually doing sports.

The most popular Prada Sport sunglasses this year were:

How to tell Real Gucci Glasses from Fake

We have previously provided tips on how to distinguish real brand name glasses from fake. Today we will share ideas on how to ensure you get real, authentic Gucci glasses when buying online.

1. Always request picture of actual glasses and the packaging before it is shipped to you.

It is understood that websites publish nice, professional photos of glasses as they are provided by manufacturer in their catalogues. However, real thing will prove that seller has your real glasses.
We, at iseeglasses online glasses store, welcome such customer requests.

2. When looking at the picture compare it with what you remember from the item you saw in the store.

Ideally, of course you have your own picture to compare. It wouldn't be hard to tell if what you are getting is the same. Problem is that many factories in China, never really bother to purchase real glasses. They make fakes directly from pictures. They miss a lot of details including the color.

3. Pay attention to details.

Details may include overall shape, temple design, logo decoration, material logo is made of, printing of the model code, color and the size. Printing of model number is one of the major areas where real glasses are different from fake. Font, size of letters, letters spacing etc, all is very important. We at iseeglasses, will often send picture with model number printing to ensure customer is getting the code intended.

4. Verify packaging.

Gucci glasses packaging includes: hard shiny brown box; hard metal brown faux leather case or hard faux leather case. Case will have gucci pattern printed inside. There will be a cleaning cloth with gold imprint "Gucci" . There also will be authenticity certificate in a shiny tiny brown envelope with gold imprint "Gucci".
Note, Gucci also has a black faux leather sunglasses case that comes with black silk soft pouch. Very few, cheaper Gucci sunglasses models such as Gucci 1627/S come in this case:

In the next post we will analyze specific Gucci models in a greater detail.
If you have requests, or found some sunglasses online on eBay or other websites that you want to buy, you can always comment on this article with the link and we will provide our expert opinion.
Again, at iseeglasses website, we only sell 100% authentic, new and current Gucci sunglasses.

Gucci glasses. Cheap Price. High Quality

Following the 3rd quarter financial announcement, Gucci decided to follow the mid-market strategy at last. Previously Gucci has been geared towards high end, high price market competing with rivals like LV, Dior, Prada. But this market has been facing a steady decline after 2008 financial crisis. While economy is slowly recovering rich people have learned to spend less or bargain hunt. Websites as iseeglasses have been rising in sales in exponentially. Gucci Glasses also have price tiers ranging from low 200s to high 400s. Here are few cheapest Gucci glasses:
