Just about few weeks ago Dior revealed its fall Baby Couture collection.
Baby collection is not something very publicized in fashion magazines. No wonder, not even many celebrities will rush to purchase a little toddler jacket for $2000. But the collection definitely worth a peak. Little princesses dressed in elegant coats, boys looking like real heart breakers and babies who care less what's on them but are the cutest regardless.
Baby Dior collection has an interesting story. In 1957 Princess of Monaco Grace has commissioned Christian Dior to design a few pieces for her daughter. 10 years later she cut the ribbon for the first Baby Dior boutique just blocks away from her royal residence. And thus, Dior was again a fashion innovator creating fashion for children. The baby collection remarkably was worth an investment. Over 60 years Dior has been making clothing for young children. Items more often purchased as a gift stay in the family for ever. So so cute...
