KliiK Glasses Design Guide

KliiK, a European glasses brand, has done a lot of work advertising its products across the city of Toronto. There are at least 5 billboards across various parts of the city, all having a very elegant lady wearing their glasses.

KliiK brand does have it's own style. The style of meticulous details. Most of KliiK glasses frames are metal. This is another factor why one might like their frames. Big brands such as Chanel, Gucci, Prada etc no longer make good metal frames. It is much cheaper to do the plastic mold and slam a fancy logo on it. KliiK positioned itself as brand that does not cut corners. Metal frames look much more elegant than plastic. They also look more sophisticated.

So here you go, best of KliiK glasses that are available online at our online glasses store:

FYSH Glasses Bring True Royal Style

If Kate Middelton wore eyeglasses she most likely would wear FYSH. FYSH UK is a British eyeglasses manufacturer and a designer house that has been rocking the world of eyeglasses for close to 10 years now. FYSH was one of the first eyeglasses makers to do truly crazy designs. Today nothing can surprise an average wearer, but 10 years ago even cheeseboard temples would be considered too fashionable. FYSH capitalized on success and to date has over 100 styles for any taste. Of course you will find a lot of conservative styles, it's just who likes FYSH are people who are looking for an edge.

Here are some of my favorite models:

FYSH 3384 FYSH 3432
FYSH 3430 FYSH 3427
FYSH 3466 FYSH 3419
FYSH 3465 FYSH 3417

Gucci's Frida Giannini to be Immortalized in James Franco's documentary

Frida Giannini has been working for Gucci close to 10 years and has been a main designer of the fashion house since 2004. There is very little known about her as she tries to keep low media profile and rarely even gives interviews, if she does it is mostly about Gucci and collections she is working on. She is one of the least known currently living designers. Everybody knows Gucci, few know Frida Giannini.

American actor and director James Franco is about to change that. It has been announced last week that James Franco signed to do a full feature documentary about Gucci and specifically Frida Giannini. James already has a close connection with Gucci as he is one of the models for Gucci men perfume. Perhaps his friendship with Frida has inspired him to do a documentary about her. Another accomplished director Christina Voros will be co-directing the film.

Making a documentary about a fashion house is not an easy task. While many people will tell you they love fashion, they are only interested in the concept of it as oppose the process, details of behind the scenes stuff. Gucci has an interesting history, but the stable design history and lack of scandals made people be less appreciative about the brand. It is also a brand that got itself into many uberluxurious projects such as equestrian collection or Fiat interior design. Few people have interest in these projects as they can't find a personal connection with them. Because Frida is such a "normal" person, James faces a hard task to find an interesting edge to show off Frida's talent and accomplishments.

Documentary most likely to be released in 2014
